It’s been a week since my last post, so I thought now was a good time to throw in another.
Last week I recommended Pendulum’s Watercolour, and I’m happy to say that their album reached Number 1 – above Glee – in the UK album charts. I’m sure they’re happy about that, and it’s a very good album despite what the critics are saying (all of this three out of five star rubbish).
This week has been fairly uneventful with yet more exams out the way… just three to go now and they’re all in a week’s time. So it’s time to put up my feet and rel- errr, I mean revise.
In the meantime I have been updating Untold Secrets, the project that is now massively behind. If you’re still interested in getting involved I recommend you visit the forums and sign up. I do hate that skin though, it will change (the new one is here).
But back to the music updates… this week’s tunes for you to listen to are largely old tracks I’m listening to once again along with the usual suspects after seeing Pendulum live at the o2 academy last Wednesday. I will put the videos of that up soon, although the sound quality isn’t great due to the monstrous bass…
The tunes for you to listen to are:
- Pendulum – Witchcraft
- Stone Sour – Through Glass
- Atreyu – Untitled Finale
- Blue October – Hate Me
- Sub Focus – Could this be real (Joker Remix)
- The Blackout – Save our Selves
- Whispered – Blade in the Snow
- Shinedown – 45 (acoustic)
- Europe – Final Countdown
- Ram Jam – Black Betty
I would also recommend that you go and see The Losers (rated 12A in the UK). It is an excellent film, and I have to say all of the trailers for upcoming films look equally great.
That’s all for now, take care.

This website has suffered a serious amount of neglect since I started it many years ago. But, for now at least, it seems that the neglect is over. I’ve given the site a new look and in the next month or two I will be working on the various communities hosted on the website.
Along with these updates I will be focusing my attention on the photography section of the website. I started uploading around two thousand images yesterday and it seems that they are almost complete. Many of these photos are almost half a year old, but along with those ones I have some more recent ones taken in Cyprus – specifically areas at RAF Akrotiri. After they have been processed they will find their way onto the photography page.
Another area I want to focus on is music. In the last month or so I have been hooked onto the bandwagon that is Spotify. After the clever techies at Spotify realised that you could play music on more than one computer with one account at the same time, they changed it. I was sharing my account with one or two others when this happened, only to find that my music kept on pausing. After purchasing a month’s worth of Spotify Premium and using my two invites I started to search for undiscovered and forgotten music. Spotify is great for finding new music that will tick the boxes in your music tastes, and since they released the social features this has been made even better.
On the right of the main content on this website you will see a last.fm box. This will show what music I am currently listening to, or if I am not listening to any at the current moment you will be able to see the last group of tracks I was listening to. I may periodically make blog posts about music that I am currently listening to or any music that I recommend. I can’t guarantee that I will fulfil your tastes, but I can try.
Other than music, photography, and neglecting the website I am now running into a period of exams. No doubt I will be extremely bored between my ‘revision sessions’ and will end up repairing or sorting things out here. So keep your eyes pealed.

A few weeks ago I was approached by a representative from MCanvasPrints.co.uk. I was asked whether I would be willing to write a review for the services they provide.
The website itself is well laid out and presented, and it was easy to find what I needed to know within a short period of time. I was offered a choice of canvas sizes to fit the dimensions of my image and given the choice of how I wanted the image wrapped onto the frame itself. I chose the 12×16 inch canvas and chose their ‘Gallery Wrap’ style. Gallery wrap is when the image is folded around the edges of the frame. I had the choice of a gallery wrap, mirror wrap (where the edges are mirrored on the sides) or a white or black wrap.
Below is the canvas, which was delivered within 3-5 days. It was an extremely efficient delivery.

I was extremely pleased with the canvas and will definitely be considering purchasing canvases from them in the future. I would recommend contacting them directly if you would like a larger canvas than the ones they currently have on offer on their website or if you have any further questions!

I have neglected my website for a long time now, but I am eager to give it a bit of a revamp and hopefully make it more photography oriented.
Updates soon.

I have returned from Morocco at last!
An unwanted extra day meant that I came back a day later than expected. I can honestly say that I will never fly with Easyjet again, they really do mess you about.
I’ll have the pictures up soon, and it’s likely I’ll be doing something with them this time.

After thinking for a long time about what to put here, I have decided that I will primarily use my website for my passion for photography.
I recently went on a vacation to China, and I took more than 1700+ pictures on the trip including images in Beijing, Xian, Shanghai and Shaoxing.
Later in December I will be visiting Morocco, and I plan on taking a similar number of pictures in Morocco, focusing on the Geography in particular.
If you have any questions, or if you wish to use any of my images, please contact me.
